Pedestrian Hit-and-Run on Artesia Boulevard Left David Bermudez Dead

LONG BEACH, CA (November 29, 2021) – 72-year-old David Bermudez lost his life in a deadly hit-and-run crash on Artesia Boulevard.

The accident happened around 6:20 p.m. of November 12, along Artesia Boulevard west of Atlantic Avenue.

According to reports, a vehicle passing along north of Artesia struck Bermudez who was walking outside of a crosswalk at that time.

Responding paramedics located the pedestrian lying on the road and rushed him to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Meantime, witnesses described the suspect car as a dark Toyota Camry that continued westbound on Artesia Boulevard.

Long Beach police continue to ask anyone who witness the crash to Detective Joseph Johnson at 562-570-7355.

CHP added anyone with anonymous tips can contact LA Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS (8477) or at lacrimestoppers.org.

Meanwhile, the investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
