The highly anticipated performance by legendary proto-beatman David Axelrod — no relation to President Obama's advisor — who was scheduled to gig as part of the Timeless Music Series, has been canceled. LOS ANGELES – March 23, 2009 – Organizers of the “Timeless” concert series today announced that the April 5 concert featuring David Axelrod has been canceled due to unplanned circumstances.

Pre-concert ticket purchasers for the April 5 show will be automatically refunded via credit/debit cards. Patrons who purchased tickets at the Harriet and Charles Luckman Fine Arts Complex box office should return to the theater for a refund.

“Along with Mochilla, we thank everyone who has supported the last three sold-out Timeless shows,” said Brian Cross (AKA B+), co-founder of production company Mochilla. “We are disappointed the last show couldn't take place, but we thank everyone for the outstanding response to this unique series.”
