43-Year-Old Man Killed in Traffic Accident on West China Grade Loop

OILDALE, CA (July 28, 2022) On Tuesday, a two-vehicle crash claimed the life of David Allen Roach, police said.

The crash occurred on West China Grade Loop and McCray Street, involving a Chevrolet Silverado driven by Roach and another vehicle.

According to California Highway Patrol, Roach was not wearing a seatbelt causing him to be ejected from his Silverado.

Emergency crews arrived and pronounced 43-year-old Roach dead at the scene, due to the extent of his injuries.

Additionally, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

No information about the other involved driver is available at this time. An active investigation are currently underway.
