Driver Killed in Deadly Crash on 210 Freeway Identified as David Adji Artinian

PASADENA, CA (September 10, 2021) – 43-year-old David Adji Artinian tragically died Tuesday evening after a two-vehicle collision on 210 Freeway.

The fatal crash occurred around 7:00 p.m. on the westbound 210 Freeway, just west of Mountain Street.

According to California Highway Patrol, Artinian was at the wheel of a 2016 Scion sedan traveling at an unknown high rate of speed when it rear-ended a big rig on the highway.

Due to the impact of the collision, Artinian was pronounced dead at the scene. While, officers claimed the big rig driver, a 35-year-old Washington man, did not suffer any injuries.

At this time, it is unknown whether speed, drugs, or alcohol played a role in the crash. However, an active investigation is underway.
