70-Year-Old Darryl Mayhew Died in Major Collision on U.S. Highway 93

ELKO COUNTY, NV (October 6, 2021) – Monday morning, September 27, Darryl Mayhew, died in a five-vehicle crash on U.S. 93.

The crash took place just before 7:45 a.m. at U.S. 93 at mile marker 104.

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the accident involved five vehicles.

However, an unspecified amount of injuries were reported, but emergency crews declared 70-year-old Darryl Mayhew dead on the scene.

There is no further information available on what caused the collision or when the route was reopened to traffic.
