Hayward Pedestrian Crash Left Elderly Man Killed

HAYWARD, CA (November 22, 2021) – A deadly pedestrian crash on Hayward claimed the life of Daoud Marzi Saturday afternoon.

Officers responded to the incident around 4:10 p.m. at the intersection of Calaroga Avenue and Southgate Street.

Upon arrival, the authorities identified the victim as 86-year-old Daoud Marzi of Hayward.

Eventually, medical personnel transported the man to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
