Pedestrian Killed in DUI Collision near Spruce Avenue

TULARE, CA (January 7, 2022) – Police arrested Danny Correa following a DUI crash on Spruce Avenue that left one person killed Sunday night.

The collision occurred around 5:30 p.m., when the suspect struck the victim crossing the street near Bardsley Street and Spruce Avenue.

Due to the impact of the collision, the man suffered from major injuries and later died at a nearby hospital. Eventually, the investigators identified the involved driver as 41-year-old Danny Correa.

Ultimately, police booked Correa to Tulare County jail for DUI and vehicular manslaughter.

At this time, the identity of the deceased victim remains unidentified.
