36-Year-Old Rider Killed in Motorcycle Collision on State Route 76

SAN DIEGO, CA (September 27, 2021)  36-year-old Daniel Robert Boyd lost his life Wednesday morning after a truck and motorcycle collision on State Route 76.

According to reports, Boyd was driving south when he altered lanes to escape traffic and rear-ended a tractor trailer under unknown circumstances.

Responding paramedics transported him to a hospital, where he later died, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office.

Authorities are still investigating the crash to learn more about what happened. More information will be provided as soon as it becomes available.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the San Diego Police Department.
