Father and Daughter Fatally Injured in Head-On Collision near Bridge Street
MORENO VALLEY, CA (November 22, 2022) – Sunday night, Daniel Jacks Jr. and Hannah Jacks were killed in a DUI crash on Gilman Springs Road.
The accident happened around 9:00 p.m., just east of Bridge Street on November 13th.
According to reports, a westbound Chevrolet Silverado crossed over the center divider into eastbound traffic and collided head-on with a Honda Insight.
First responders arrived and pronounced the two Honda occupants dead at the scene. Police later identified the victims as 45-year-old Daniel Jacks Jr., and his 20-year-old daughter Hannah Jacks, both San Jacinto residents.
Meanwhile, medics took the Chevy driver, Scott Bales of Moreno Valley and his passenger to a hospital for further treatment.
Authorities eventually arrested and charged Bales with two counts of homicide, as well as driving under the influence and injuring his passenger.
