Traffic Collision near West Virginia Street Left One Fatality
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (July 14, 2022) – 42-year-old Daniel Cardoza lost his life after an auto-pedestrian collision near North East Street.
According to reports, the incident happened around 9:01 p.m., on the 4th of July, near the intersection of North East Street and West Virginia Street. Authorities say that Cardoza was walking in the area when an unknown vehicle fatally struck him.
Emergency services were called to the scene. Paramedics rushed Cardoza to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment. However, he died the next day, at 9:13 p.m., due to the extent of his injuries.
It is unclear whether or not the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene after the collision. At this time, an active investigation is currently underway. Those with further information are encouraged to call local authorities as soon as possible.
