One Dead, Two Injured in DUI Collision Near Glenside Drive

LAFAYETTE, CA (January 4, 2022)Daneen Allenkiester died Christmas Eve after a suspected DUI collision on St. Marys Road that also injured two others, authorities said.

According to Contra Costa Sherrif’s office, the crash occurred in the area near Glenside Drive around 10:47 a.m. on December 24th.

Allenkiester, 56, seemed to have been driving impaired when her car collided with another according to police reports.

First Responders rushed her to the hospital, where she died two days later.

Meanwhile, the other vehicle’s driver and at least one of their passengers were hospitalized with minor injuries.

As of this time, no further information is available regarding the incident.
