Oleg is known to dance like everyone’s watching, because everyone loves watching him dance. He struck global fame when his world-class ballroom dance skills achieved multi-platform viral status. Numbers don’t lie, and his YouTube channel has over 200 million views with more than 410k subscribers tuning in. The page, “Dance With Oleg,” has surpassed 710k followers on Facebook. With more than 700k followers on Instagram, as well, Oleg Astakhov has a collective audience of 2.5 million followers, making him the most famous ballroom dancer in the world.

Oleg Astakhov is the world-famous, award-winning, professional ballroom dancer living in Los Angeles, CA. In addition to achieving celebrity status across the internet, Oleg Astakhov has launched the world’s first Ballroom APP – “Dance With Oleg” now available in both the App Store for iPhone and Google Play Store for Android.

Oleg was born in the small city of Lutsk, Ukraine. At age 16, he moved to Warsaw, Poland to study after becoming the National Latin American Dance Champion. He already won multiple Ukrainian National Titles in the junior and youth divisions of the Latin American dance program.

He moved to the United States in 2005 and started to compete as a professional ballroom dancer. Oleg achieved the status of winner and finalist in many more major dance competitions.

In 2007, he opened his first dance school, “Ballroom Dancing LA” in Alhambra, California. During this time, he became one of the most highly sought after ballroom dance teachers in the industry.

Oleg opened “Beverly Hills Dance Studio” next in Beverly Hills, CA in 2010. This is when he started to work one-on-one with superstars like Selena Gomez. He is known for working with and teaching many of Hollywood’s beloved A-listers, including Gwyneth Paltrow.

Oleg started his YouTube channel in 2017. Then in 2019, he opened ViBE, the first remotely controlled dance studio and creative space in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills. In 2020, he opened Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Arcadia, California – joining forces with the world’s largest dance franchise. From there, Oleg started the world’s first monthly subscription-based educational platform for ballroom and Latin dancing in 2021. Oleg just launched the world’s first monthly subscription ballroom and Latin dancing educational app, “Dance With Oleg” in 2022.
