For dance-music DJs and producers, aficionados and casual fans alike, Resident Advisor has become a superlative web destination for what’s fierce and fresh on the floors and beyond from a global perspective. So when the site puts together its first-ever US tour, you better believe it’s a hot ticket. So much so that L.A.’s Avalon is changing up its schedule a bit to accommodate. The club is hosting a special late-night event (beginning at midnight and going till morning) featuring Ame and Dixon, two deep house innovators out of Germany who’ve made an impressive mark on the scene nurtured with RA exposure. Dixon (a.k.a. Steffen Berkhahn) is best known for influential house nights like E-Werk and Audio Video Disco in Berlin, but gained a larger audience from his RA podcasts. Ame (studio-head duo Frank Wiedemann and Kristian Beyer) became fave raves on an international level after this year’s Fabric mix CD, also RA championed. Augmented in the main room by dance-party purveyors from the Droog collective (opening), plus Acid Circus from the Droid Behavior parties and Chi-town transplant Lee Foss in the Honey lounge, this crack-of-dawn dance party is definitely worth staying up all night for. Avalon, 1735 Vine St., Hollywood; Fri., Nov. 14, mid.-7 a.m.; over 21; $15 pre-sale tix at www.wantickets.com/avalon.
