An internationally flavored duo of dance parties, both on Saturday night, tops our picks list this week. ¡DANCETERIA!, a stew of indie, twee, electropop, eurodisco and post-punk from all around the globe, returns for one night only with selectors, including Maurice de la Falaise, Sebastian Belle and and guest Larry G. (Club Underground). Don't expect to know all the words to the jams here (the club is an incarnation of long-running grind Par Avion, and it plays stuff in French, Italian, Spanish and German, as well as English) but do be ready to move to the universal power of pop rhythm. 503 W. Pico Blvd., dwntwn.; 10 p.m.-4 a.m.; 18 and older; $5. myspace.com/danceteriapopclub. A lively Latin-themed sound track fires up DESCARGA, which this week pays tribute to Brazilian beats, dipping into “the World Cup frenzy” with new DJs, a live band and samba dancer, and discounts for those who wear their team's colors. Spinners include Loslito, Cid Hernandez, Billy Goods and Pablito Mas. El Cid, 4212 Sunset Blvd., Silver Lake; 9:30 p.m.-2:30 a.m.; 21 and older; $10 descargaclub.com. Both nights, Sat., June 19.
