Will the change from “all ages” to “18 and over” make a difference in vibe at the Nocturnal Festival this Saturday? Only party time will tell, but either way the lineup promises a euphoric array of entertainment. As always, the fest, which used to go by “Nocturnal Wonderland,” offers whimsical Alice-themed areas and mad mixer/producer talent: Ferry Corsten headlines the “Labyrinth,” JFK of MSTRKRFT and locals LA Riots and Dan Oh turn on the “Upside Down Room,” Steve Angelo is in “Alice's House,” Caspa's in the “Sunken Garden” and some great groovers off your head with big beats on the “Queen's Grounds”: Pretty Lights, Rabbit (from Rabbit on the Moon), Donald Glaude and Uberzone, to name a few. The sprawling grounds have provided a good setup for the electronic-music event in past years, and word is Insomniac (best known for Electric Daisy Carnival) will be bringing in extra security for everyone's safety. Check the website for things that can't be brought in, some of which include: lip balm, eye drops, backpacks and — ahem — pacifiers and stuffed animals. NOS Events Center, 689 S.
