Belated Valentine's-themed celebrations offer some sweetness to the club scene this week. On Saturday, eat up the eye candy at Cake, a new disco night in a new venue (the Asbury in MacArthur Park). DJs Eric Adams and Phyliss Navidad offer (non-mainstream) disco beats, and androgynous divas Leopold and Miss Barbie Q perform live. The Asbury, 2501 W. 6th St., L.A.; Sat., Feb. 19. Studio 69 presents the Love & Lust Ball, a white costume affair from Perish and the Sexy 69 girls. Kissing booths, fashion shows, live art, lasers, photo areas, DJs spinning electro, dubstep, breaks and much more promised. White outfit mandatory. Members-only event; join up at perish69club.com. Area 33, 11822 Teale St., Culver City; Sat., Feb. 19. Also become a member or buy tix at studio69.eventbrite.com. And finally, one of L.A.'s sexiest clubs returns in a new locale on Sunday: Full Frontal Disco, which moves from Grand Star to Akbar, bringing its disco decadence with it. DJs Nelstar and Mick Fiction spin. Akbar, 4356 W. Sunset Blvd., Silver Lake; Sun., Feb. 20; akbarsilverlake.com.
