25-Year-Old Rider Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Collision near Schertz Parkway
SCHERTZ, TX (September 9, 2024) – Damon Chambers died early Wednesday afternoon, in a motorcycle crash on Elbel Road and Schertz Parkway.
Police officers arrived to the scene around 12:35 p.m., on August 21st.
Investigators say Chambers was riding a motorcycle at high speeds, approximately 100 mph, in the northbound lanes of Schertz Parkway.
Police attempted to pull him over, but he continued riding until he collided with a vehicle at the intersection.
Paramedics transported 25-year-old Chambers to Brooke Army Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
