The clip was produced by Jessica Rew and Jay Teno for Elefante Entertainment, and shows Dam at his most and honest. It's a fascinating glimpse of a musical spirit who promises to be a presence for years to come. (The live footage is from a recent gig at Cinespace.) His epic debut, Toeachizown, is out now on Stones Throw records. “I am not a retro artist,” he explains passionately. “I'm someone continuing the funk.” Right on to that.
