Jackson Family says there will be no public viewing at Neverland. We're both incredibly disappointed, and incredibly relieved. Mostly disappointed.

TMZ's got a hold of Michael Jackson's will, and offers a PDF of it here. Most interesting part of this preliminary offering: “If any of my children are minors at the time of my death, I nominate my mother, KATHERINE JACKSON as guardian of the persons and estates of such minor children. If KATHERINE JACKSON fails to survive me, or is unable or unwilling to act as guardian, I nominate DIANA ROSS as guardian of the persons and estates of such minor children.”

Shitty press release of the day. This came out, mind you, five days after his death, before the King of Pop has even had a proper burial:

“The Late / Great King Of Pop, Michael Jackson, Featured In Upcoming DVD Doc, The Trial And Triumph Of The King Of Pop.”

With the world still reeling from the unexpected and tragic passing of Michael Jackson, a forthcoming DVD will focus on the bright side and explain some of the complexities in this musical icon's life….

So you read that and think, oh good, we get to read about Michael as a boy, and at the height of his Thriller fame.

The press release continues:

Titled The Trial and Triumph of The King of Pop, this 76-minute documentary will examine (and go behind the scenes) of when the singer went to trial on child molestation charges, and was eventually proven not guilty by the court of law.

Oh .. the bright parts of his life — the months during and after when his name, his private parts, his sexual predilections, had been presented in a court of law for all the world to see. Gotcha.
