Pedestrian Collision on Central Avenue Left One Woman Dead

LOS ANGELES, CA (March 17, 2022) – On Thursday, a hit-and-run crash on 89th Street took the life of Cynthia Sabo, police said.

The crash happened around 10:45 p.m. at 89th Street on Central Avenue.

Furthermore, authorities said Sabo was seen crossing 89th Street by Central Avenue in the Green Meadows neighborhood.

Consequently, a vehicle struck the victim in the roadway.

Eventually, the driver fled the scene of the collision.

Moreover, investigators believed it was a possible Camaro or Charger with significant front-end damage.

Meanwhile, a surveillance video shows the before and after of the incident, as well as the license plate number.

As of this time, the driver has not been located.

An active investigation into the fatal hit-and-run crash is currently ongoing.
