Fatal Hit-and-Run Bicycle Accident on Old Bayshore Highway

SAN JOSE, CA (January 21, 2021) – Wednesday evening, one bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Queens Lane.

According to the investigators, the crash occurred around 6:15 p.m., near the intersection of Queens Lanes and Old Bayshore Highway.

The circumstances surrounding the fatal collision are still unclear. However, reports indicate that a driver struck a bicyclist and immediately fled the scene.

Due to the impact of the crash, the cyclist succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. At this time, the identity of the deceased victim remains unavailable pending notification of next of kin.

Furthermore, San Jose Officials are still searching for the hit-and-run suspect with no current description.

The surrounding area was closed during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.
