Car Crash on 18th Street Left One Fatality

PHOENIX, AZ (October 25, 2021) A car crash on 18th Street claimed the life of one cyclist, Thursday night, October 14.

According to authorities, the incident occurred at around 7 p.m. near 18th Street and Thomas Road.

Meanwhile, the police did not report if the driver remained at the site of the collision.

Emergency crews declared the cyclist dead on the scene at the time of their arrival.

Additionally, authorities shut down both directions of the roadway for an extended period of time, but has since been reopened. Also, authorities are still investigating the caused of the car crash.

No additional information has been released about the fatal collision, more details will be posted as they are made available to the public.
