On April 17, Japanese fashion designer Sebastian Masuda of 6% Dokidoki stopped by Hollywood Farmers' Market as part of the Mighty Harajuku tour with “shopgirls” Yuka and Vani, where they were joined by artist manager Caro of Sweet Streets and party promotion team Bubble Punch to raise funds for earthquake and tsunami relief in Japan.
Meanwhile, Monterey Park hosted its annual Cherry Blossom Festival at Barnes Park. AniMaid Cafe was on hand to play a few rounds of Rock, Paper, Scissors with the crowd and Pacific Media Expo hosted a Harajuku Fashion Show.
