[NOTE: This show has been canceled. But the British group’s mix of soul, new wave, reggae and synth-pop proved enduring, and most people soon stopped worrying about what Boy George was wearing and surrendered instead to the inevitable ubiquity of hits like “Karma Chameleon.” Apart from occasional, fitful attempts at reunions, Culture Club have been largely irrelevant after a drug-addicted George left the band in 1986. They’re finally back now with the original lineup and a new song, “More Than Silence,” which echoes past glories as George’s voice soars grandly over a bed of ’80s rock guitars.
