Two Dead after Solo-Vehicle Collision on East Avenue K-8

LANCASTER, CA (February 3, 2022) – A crash on Division Street claimed the life of Crystal Ramirez and Simone Palmer, early Friday morning.

Paramedics responded to the scene around 1:59 a.m., on Division Street and East Avenue K-8.

For reasons unknown, the driver of a southbound Volkswagen lost control and crashed into a tree.

Due to the impact of the collision, first responders declared Ramirez dead at the scene. Meanwhile, medical personnel transported 33-year-old Palmer to a hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

At this time, Lancaster Officials are still currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. Police are asking anyone with information to contact Lancaster Sheriff’s Station at 661-948-8466.
