Can we tawk? Kathy Griffin would still look like her high school yearbook photo and not have the career she has today if it weren't for Joan Rivers. The hardest working lady in comedy with the hardest working plastic surgeon is busy doing what most entertainers her age have to do: hawk books, reality shows, QVC jewelry lines. (Thinning on top? Rivers' Great Hair Day fill-in powder works wonders for that, too.) Rivers has also been promoting her recent documentary, Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work. And last year, she was the guest of honor at her own Comedy Central Roast, hosted by Griffin. (Our favorite zinger: “You used to look your age. Now, you don't even look like your species,” courtesy of fellow comic Greg Giraldo.) For her current national tour, Rivers takes the esteemed jazz club's stage, where she'll no doubt tackle the usual subjects of age and celebrities, especially the jail-bound ones. Lindsay Lohan can only hope to be working in comedy clubs in Wisconsin when she's in her 70s.
