There's pantsing, and then there's underpantsing.

Police this week circulated security images (below) of a man they say has taken pantsing to a new low: He has allegedly pulled down not just the pants of his female victims, but also their underwear.

The women were attacked as they walked in Sherman Oaks and Van Nuys this summer, according to the Los Angeles Police Department:

The LAPD says the guy has attacked women with his panty-dropping crime five times in June.

The boundaries for the general area in which he approached his victims includes Hatteras Street on the north, Morrison Street on the south, Halbrent Avenue on the west and Cedros Avenue on the east, police said.

The women were all walking their dogs early in the morning when they were approached by the suspect, who made eye contact with them before underpantsing them, cops said.

One victim told police he's the kind of guy who “blends into the neighborhood not causing any suspicion,” according to an LAPD statement.

The white or Latino man in his early to mid-20s is described by police as 5 feet, 8 inches, 150 or so pounds. Cops say his mode of transportation might be a late-'90s gray Toyota Camry or Ford Taurus.

In the meantime, keep that pepper spray handy.
