Whoa, that's a lot of braids. It's actually a bonnet made of hair. Created by hairdressing academy Studio Marisol for Spanish designers CuldeSac (be careful of that link, it takes over your entire computer screen, sort of like the hair). Studio Marisol conducts summer workshops on hair from July through September and they teach you how to do stuff like this. The courses are taught by designers, artists, and architects who live together with the participants for six to ten days.

Says their promo material: “In this current edition of Boisbuchet Workshops we are using human hair as our working and inspirational raw material. The main goal is to research, design and build a project by using cutting, shape, fixing, weaving, teasing, textures and colour.”

They will also “review the hair subject as a social and cultural element.”
