TLC's latest reality show Extreme Couponing follows savvy shoppers who collect coupons like it's a full-time job. If you want to buy unlimited amounts of food for just a few bucks and turn your house into a bomb shelter filled with crap you neither want nor need — say, 134 boxes of couscous — Frugal Festival Food will teach budding bargain hunters how to really s-t-r-e-t-c-h those dollars. Hosted by frugal blogger (flogger?) Julia Scott of Bargainbabe.com, this year's event focuses on food, which includes free samples courtesy of Albertsons, as well as various restaurants. Experts will also be on hand for shopping and dining tips and demonstrations; plus, a DJ, coupon challenge and giveaways filled with gifts, including an Albertsons gift card worth $300. Too bad there's no coupon for getting a better-paying job. Canoga Park High School, 6850 Topanga Canyon Blvd.
