If you're going to burglarize someone's home, take some advice: Don't wear anything too scanty. It'll make you easy to identify.

Cops say a bikini bandit has struck twice this month, in Lancaster and in Lake Hughes. The L.A. County Sheriff's Department posted a “wanted for questioning” bulletin today in an attempt to find this allegedly good-looking criminal.

Within the hour a suspect had been identified, a detective told us.

Still, the person is not in custody, and no ID was available just yet, Sheriff's Lt. Rob Hahnlein said. A suspect used force to break into a residence in at least one case, he alleged.

Security video allegedly captured the beach girl in action, and detectives released a photo still (above) from that footage.

The woman allegedly burglarized a residence in the 28000 block of West Avenue C6 in Lancaster on June 4, cops said. “The individual took items from the location,” the bulletin states.

The same day she allegedly hit an unlocked residence in the 47000 block of Three Points Road in Lake Hughes, sheriff's officials said.

She fled with “some valuables,” the bulletin stated.

She's white, in her late 30s, 5 feet 5 inches and 120 pounds, investigators said.

She was captured on video “wearing a yellow bikini bottom and a green bikini top,” the bulletin states.

She drove off in a tan sedan, cops said.

Though she's been ID'd, if you know more about the alleged caper, cops probably wouldn't mind hearing from you. Maybe the suspect had an alleged accomplice in board shorts. Call 800-222-TIPS (8477).
