27-Year-Old Driver in Deadly Rollover Accident near Indian School Road

PHOENIX, AZ (April 6, 2023) – Sunday morning, Conttrell Curry died in a solo-car accident on Loop 101 near Indian School Road. The incident took place on March 12th, in the early morning. According to reports, Curry lost failed to negotiate a curve and lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle then went up several embankments, hit several trees, and then ended up on its side in a drainage canal. The impact of the collision caused Curry to be partially ejected from his vehicle. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. First responders at the scene pronounced 27-Year-Old Contrell Curry, of Georgia, dead at the scene. Police have determined intoxication to be a factor in the collision. At this time, no further details regarding the rollover crash have been released to the public. However, an active investigation is currently underway and officials will update with details as soon as they become available.
