DUI Suspect in Custody After Colliding with a Construction Worker

ONTARIO, CA (August 11, 2021) – Friday night, a construction worker was fatally struck by an apparent DUI collision on 10 Freeway near Archibald Avenue.

The collision occurred late Friday night, August 6th, in Ontario according to California Highway Patrol.

Per CHP reports, the construction worker was standing along the 10 Freeway when a passing car struck and killed the worker.

Several bystanders successfully prevented the vehicle from escaping the scene. Eventually Officers arrived on scene, and arrested the driver for driving under the influence.

At this time, authorities refuse to release the age or identities of the victims.

More information will be released, as it becomes available to the public. The DUI collision on 10 Freeway is still under investigation.
