The Conrad Los Angeles is one of the newest Conrad Hotels & Resorts additions. Designed by the legendary architect Frank Gehry, the 305-room hotel is in heart of Downtown Los Angeles’ financial and art district offering guests a wide range of popular attractions and landmarks. Across the street from the iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall and minutes away from the Crypto Center, a walking tour of Bunker Hill Public Art, the Hollywood sign, Universal Studios, Grammy Museum, Rodeo Drive, Fashion District, Walk of Fame, and LA Live Entertainment Complex. The hotel’s prime location is perfect for business or pleasure travelers visiting Los Angeles.

Upon entering the hotel, you are mesmerized by the incredible views from all directions from the stylish and modern vibe of the lobby adorned with art pieces by LA-based artist Ben Medansky. With an outdoor terrace surrounding the 10th floor, there is a photo op around every corner. The hotel’s guest rooms and suites are equally as chic and modern. Each room has state-of-the-art technology, and floor-to-ceiling windows to enjoy the beautiful views of Los Angeles. The suites offer additional features such as separate living areas, dining tables and wet bars, and my favorite, the heavenly rainfall shower. The bed was so comfortable with plush bedding and the convenience of controlling everything in the room with a touch of a button is amazing as you lay in bed staring out at the twinkling lights of the city skyline.

The Conrad Los Angeles boasts a variety of amenities to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Guests have access to the 24-hour fitness center, heated rooftop pool, and jacuzzi, a full-service spa, where guests can indulge in a range of face and body treatments designed to soothe the mind and body. I received the Intuitive Massage which is one of Conrad Spa’s signature massages which was much needed and energizing. Also, the spa offers a Recovery Cabin Experience which is a customized experience of treatments designed to elevate a state of well-being by diving deeper into the mind and body awareness. So, treat yourself because I highly recommend this experience. The Conrad is also part of The Grand LA complex, which features 176,000 square feet of retail and dining space in a beautifully landscaped public plaza.

If you are a foodie you will be pleased that the Conrad Los Angeles partnered up with the José Andrés Group to open the Agua Viva and San Laurel restaurants. Both restaurants offer incredible dishes by Michelin-starred Chef José Andrés while enjoying open-aired dining and taking in the panoramic views of the city. Every dish looks like a piece of art which goes in theme with the area. You can’t go wrong with breakfast, lunch, or dinner at either restaurant. Side note, the French eggs I had for breakfast at San Laurel were the best I have ever had. If you want to keep it more casual you can enjoy in-room dining or shareable snacks at the rooftop pool bar in your own private cabana. Of course, you can’t forget the delicious signature cocktails and extensive wine list at the restaurants, Airlight rooftop pool bar, or The Beaudry Room.

The Conrad Los Angeles is the perfect choice for travelers looking for a luxurious, sophisticated, and convenient place to stay in the heart of the city with the best and some of the best teams in the business. The impeccable and friendly service makes you feel welcome. From its awesome guest rooms and amenities to its delicious restaurants and top-notch event spaces, the hotel has everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay in Los Angeles.
