4 Pronounced Dead after ATV Collision near Liberty

LIBERTY, WA (July 31, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, Conner Jenkins, Benjamin Santana, Devon Anonson and Halle Cole died in an ATV crash. The incident occurred around 4:00 p.m., on July 29th. Per reports, an ATV overturned and caught fire at a popular recreation area in the Wenatchee-Okanogan National Forest. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced 23-year-old Santana and 24-year-old Cole, from Maple Valley dead at the scene. Meanwhile, medics airlifted 24-year-old Jenkins and 26-year-old Anonson to Harborview Medical Center’s burn center where they later succumbed to their injuries. Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Once available, further details will be provided.
