Pass the bread and butter! Amidst a sea of local farmers, produce, and food trucks at the Altadena Farmers Market was the site of a community bread bake. Los Angeles locals arrived with loaves of dough and gathered around artist Michael O'Malley as he mastered the art of bread baking with his giant portable oven. All photos by Sammi Cohen.
