Flavors of Los Angeles 2013 has invited chefs such as Nyesha Arrington, exec chef at Wilshire, to cook a 5-course meal at attendees' tableside for the American Liver Foundation on Sunday, May 5. Before dinner at 7 p.m., there will be a cocktail reception and silent auction at 5:30 p.m.

The chefs mostly hail from the kitchens of notable Westside and/or Beach Cities restaurants: Arrington of Wilshire; Shigefumi Tachibe of the Chaya Restaurant Group; Collin Crannell of The Lobster; Keith Roberts of Ocean & Vine; David Iino of Salt in Calabasas; Timothy Kast of Seasons 52 Santa Monica and its OC location; Mirko Paderno of Oliverio; as well as Wonny Lee and Yoya Takahashi of Hamasaku.

Each chef will be preparing a special menu of five courses (with wine pairing) for his or her table of 12 guests. Cocktails will be provided by American Harvest Organic Vodka and Klamie Wine Cellars will oversee the wine program.

The annual event presented by the Greater Los Angeles Division of the American Liver Foundation is in its seventh run. An individual ticket is $275 and can be purchased online.
