If you're still not sure what you're doing on the evening of May 15, maybe consider coming downtown to Grand Central Market for LA Weekly's Artopia, a celebration of L.A.'s art scene and the publication of our annual People issue.

Because not only will there be art, music, food and booze, but many of the people making the food for you are Grand Central Market vendors who'll be staying open late just for the event. So if you haven't had the time to get to Horse Thief BBQ, Sticky Rice, DTLA Cheese and Belcampo Meat Co., among many others, since they opened, now's your chance.

These marvelous food establishments will not only be open later than their customary 6 p.m., but they'll be staying open until 11 p.m. – insanely late for this town. Among the places staying open for Artopia: Belcampo Meat Co., Berlin Currywurst, Better Booch, DTLA Cheese, G&B Coffee, Horse Thief BBQ, Jose Chiquito, Jose's Ice Cream Corner, La Huerta, Lupita's Seafood, Olio GCM, Press Brothers Juicery, Roast To Go, Sticky Rice and Valerie Confections. And since booze is part of Artopia's $30 entry fee, feel free to pair your brisket or hand pie with a stiff drink.

Tickets are now on sale for $30 from now until May 5; $35 from May 6-14; and $40 on the day of the event. Artopia will take place on May 15, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Grand Central Market, 317 Broadway, Los Angeles.
