On Friday the 13th of September, Chicago’s famed industrial/EBM fest, Cold Waves, returned yet again to Los Angeles, this time as a more streamlined one-day affair. The night, which was held at The Regent Theater in DTLA, held performances by UK’s influential early industrial act Test Dept, Australia’s synthpop band Severed Heads, Paul Barker of Ministry fame, and Iceland’s post-punk trio Kælan Mikla. Along with DJ sets by Danny Fuentes and Matthew Pernicano.
