Motorcycle Accident on Camarillo Leaves One Fatality

CAMARILLO, CA (June 18, 2021) – Authorities identified Colby James Stoker as the motorcycle accident victim on Highway 101 last Sunday.

The fatal crash occurred around 4:09 p.m., just north of Camarillo Springs Road.

According to reports, Stoker was riding a southbound 2021 Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Meanwhile, a 17-year-old girl  from Camarillo was also driving a southbound 2018 Nissan Versa.

There, the Nissan and motorcycle collided. However, the events leading up to the collision remain unknown.

Shortly after, 43-year-old Colby James Stoker died at the scene and the cause of the crash remains unknown.

Meanwhile, the Nissan Driver, identified as a 17-year-old girl, stayed at the scene and remained uninjured.

Investigators say the driver was wearing a seat belt and the rider was wearing a helmet. However, officers are yet to establish if alcohol or drugs played a factor in the crash.
