As expected, national and local news outlets are setting up in West Hollywood, ready to televise reactions to today's ruling for the Proposition 8 federal trial.

The ruling will be handed down sometime between 1 and 3 p.m. this afternoon.

A CNN truck as well as news crews from Channel 2 and Channel 7 are already parked outside the gay bar and restaurant The Abbey on Robertson Boulevard in West Hollywood.

A stage is also being constructed inside West Hollywood Park near Robertson Boulevard, where a rally will be held tonight at 6 p.m.

Diners at The Abbey casually ate their lunch as TV cameras were trained on them for their reactions to the Prop. 8 ruling.
