Do you love the movie Clue? Whether you're more of a Colonel Mustard or a Professor Plum, you won't want to miss this one-night-only performance of “Clue — A Staged Reading: It's Just Not a Game Anymore!” It's the sly work of actress Jill Benjamin, who has assembled an amazing cast including Ike Barinholtz, Jon Cryer, Colin Hanks, Jack McBrayer, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Chris Parnell, Rachael Harris, John Henson, Sara Rue, Retta and Nicole Sullivan to take on the screwball comedy. Benjamin, who plays Mrs. Peacock, admits, “I have been obsessed with the film and have memorized the dialogue by heart since it was released in 1985. I'm delighted to find so many prominent comedians who share my admiration for the movie. This is a dream come true.” She even wrangled the movie's director/co-writer Jonathan Lynn to be in the audience, and with the proceeds going to Children's Institute, which benefits children affected by violence, it's no mystery that it would be a crime to miss this one. Largo at the Coronet, 366 N. La Cienega Blvd.; Sun., July 15, 8:30 p.m.; $50. Tickets: call Amber Rardin, (213) 260-7623, or largo-la.com.
