Following the shooting death of a valet outside a West Hollywood club early Monday West Hollywood city officials said they would review the venue's licenses, according to Weho News.

The website reported that the lounge, Guys & Dolls, was the site of a fight Saturday night and saw a recent, two-week suspension of its alcohol license. The venue's owner, Michael Sutton, a celebrity restaurateur and club owner, issued a statement obtained by the Weekly Tuesday:

All of us at Guys and Dolls are outraged by the senseless act of violence that took place last night after closing near the clubs shared valet stand.

We want to express our deepest sympathy to the victims and their families.

As this is an ongoing police investigation, we are unable to respond to the numerous inquiries from the media. We ask for your understanding during this difficult time. Thank you.

Sutton was a principal behind the restaurants Memphis in Hollywood and the Lodge in Beverly Hills.

The 42-year-old valet was reportedly killed in front of his wife and son but did not appear to be the target of the gunman. A fracas broke out as the Beverly Boulevard club emptied shortly after 2 a.m. on Monday. Some of the chaos was caught on tape by a TMZ videographer.

Deputies were searching for a black Bentley or Rolls-Royce that apparently left the scene. It has a partial license plate of 5783G.
