Two Drivers Dead Following a Vehicle Collision near Woodward Reservoir

MODESTO, CA (August 8, 2022) – A two-vehicle crash on 26 Mile Road killed Clinton Tutthill and Eduardo Salinas.

The accident happened just around 4:00 p.m. along 26 Mile Road just north of Eastman Road.

As per reports, a white Ford F-150 was traveling northbound on 26 Mile Road when it collided with a Chevy Tahoe traveling southbound. Due to the impact of the crash, both drivers sustained major injuries.

Emergency personnel were dispatched to the site of the accident. After preliminary investigations, responding paramedics pronounced 45-year-old Tutthill, of Murphys, and 51-year-old Salinas, of Oakdale.

At this time, it is unknown whether speed, drugs, or alcohol played a role in the crash. However, an active investigation is underway.

Meanwhile, California Highway Patrol officials asks anyone who witness the fatal crash to contact them at their local offices immediately.
