68-Year-Old Man Dies in Multi-Vehicle Collision near Interstate 15

LAS VEGAS, NV (November 7, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, a multi-vehicle crash on Cheyenne Avenue claimed the life of Cleofas Aguilar. 

The collision occurred at around 2:00 p.m. south of Cheyenne Avenue at Interstate 15.

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, a utility truck was driving in the far right lane while traffic was stopped ahead. The truck did not slow down and collided with the back of a red pickup truck, which then struck a tan SUV. The tan SUV then collided with a white box truck.

First responders arrived shortly after and found the driver of the pickup truck died at the scene. Later, police identified the deceased as 68-year-old Cleofas Aguilar.

At this time, Las Vegas police have not release any additional information. However, they will release updates once available as an active investigation is underway.
