Two-Vehicle Collision on State Route 70 Injures 19-Year-Old Driver

PLUMAS COUNTY, CA (May 2, 2022)  Claryssah Ghidossi was hurt in a suspected DUI collision on State Route 70, Sunday afternoon.

The incident occurred at 12:55 p.m., in the southbound lane of the highway near Beskeen Lane.

Per reports, 40-year-old Christopher Brown, of Quincy, was driving a 2012 black Toyota Corolla at the time. For reasons unknown, he turned directly into the path of Ghidossi’s 2021 white Subaru Crosstrek.

Ghidossi attempted to avoid Brown, but the Subaru’s left front collided with the Toyota’s left rear. Upon impact, 19-year-old Claryssah Ghidossi suffered minor injuries in the crash.

Following preliminary duties, officers arrested Brown on suspicion of driving under the influence.
