Car Crash on Highway 99 Left Delano Man Dead

DELANO, CA (December 14, 2021) – A vehicle crash on Highway 99 claimed the life of 43-year-old Cirilo Orozco Jr. Sunday morning.

The accident happened around 7 a.m. of December 5th on southbound Highway 99, south of Woollomes Avenue.

California Highway Patrol responded at the scene and found the lifeless body of a man from a suspected car crash on the freeway. Although the events that led to the fatal accident remain unknown.

Authorities later identified the man as 43-year-old Delano resident, Cirilo Orozco Jr.

Further circumstances leading up to the accident have not yet been made available to the public.

Delano police continues to investigate the fatal crash on Highway 99 and will release further updates once it is available.
