The last time we saw Wilshire closed there were protesters lying down in the streets. This time CicLAvia will tour Iconic Wilshire Boulevard in conjunction with the Pacific Standard Time arts and architecture program of the same name.
Cool.
You can ride from One Wilshire Boulevard downtown to the L.A. County Museum of Art on the Miracle Mile from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., organizers said in a statement last night:

Participants can stroll through a snapshot of the city's architectural evolution from Victorian vision to modernist experimentation; massive towers of business to intimate houses of worship; world class museums to working class mercados. The day will include a podcast by architectural researcher and commentator Edward Lifson and an architectural walking guide by Catherine Gudis.
Each end of the route will be a pedestrian-only “hub,” they said. Other hubs will include areas in MacArthur Park, Koreatown and “Mid-Wilshire.”
