But reviews of Los Angeles' first city sponsored mega-ride along 7.5 miles of wide open streets, mostly through East Hollywood, Westlake, downtown and a little of the Eastside, paint it as a success.
The Los Angeles Times even stated that 100,000 people participated, although photos don't make it out to be half that crowded.
