Hit-and-Run Collision near Adeline Street Injures 22-Year-Old Woman

OAKLAND, CA (March 7, 2023) – Thursday afternoon, Ciana Leehang sustained injuries after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on 54th Street.

According to the report, the collision happened at the corner of 54th and Adeline streets in North Oakland.

Surveillance footage from the scene revealed that a white pickup truck struck the woman in the crosswalk. However, the driver did not render aid to the victim and fled the scene.

Authorities identified the female pedestrian as 22-year-old Ciana Leehang. Reports claimed that Rodriguez declined medical transport. Although, a relative of Rodriguez rushed her to a hospital for a medical examination.

Later, officials identified the suspect’s vehicle as a Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with an extended cab.

At this time, the Oakland Police Department is asking anyone with information about the suspect to contact local authorities as soon as possible.
