In June 2006, Dines decided to retire from DJing and started a new journey, facilitating mindfulness workshops for addicts, alcoholics, and people battling mental illness. Seeking further knowledge, Dines pursued studies in the history of science and pure mathematics under the guidance of Professor Piers Bursill-Hall in his mid-30s. Today, he proudly serves as an ambassador for Project Eileen, a charitable organization based in Brighton & Hove, UK.
